pool of blood

angst-ridden teen that no one understands
Angst-Ridden Teenage Poetry

An assimilation of collective bodies,
Ammased before me,
Forcing conformity.
They don't know what it's like.

It tries to take away,
Suck dry, hollow out, break away,
What makes me: ME.
They don't see how things really are.

I try to resist,
The fate it has assigned,
to take me in and break me down.
They fear my individuality.

I want to fight it,
To stand my ground and to hold myself,
Against it's attempt to mold me.
They don't know who I am.

Death is the only way out,
but even if I die,
It will live.
They don't care what happens to me.
